Micro-entity: Very small organisations that meet two of the following criteria: 1) A turnover of £1 million or less; 2) £500,000 or less on its balance sheet; 3) 10 employees or fewer.
SME: Small to medium enterprises, companies with a smaller scale of operations. (Turnovers under 10m and/or balance sheet total under 5m.)
Non-prime: Large organisations currently working predominantly outside public sector frameworks. (Turnovers over 10m and/or balance sheet total over 5m.)
Prime: Large suppliers and contractors with extensive experience in providing solutions and services through public sector frameworks.
