AVRT - Adaptive VR Training
AVRT is a multi-user, fully immersive and free-roam VR system for training drills, exercises and scenarios that are difficult to simulate otherwise. Developed with feedback from UK and international armed forces, Police Forces and other organisations, AVRT allows trainers to create simulations to test performance across a huge variety of situations. The AVRT system is a delivery method for pre-existing doctrine and frameworks, delivered using the instructors’ own skills and experience in fully dynamic, controllable scenarios. AI-driven, fully controllable and hybrid scenario elements are combined to build and deliver training scenarios. Real-feel weapons, detailed environments and a library of combatants, weapons, conditions and situations allow instructors to build a simulation that’s tailored to the desired learning outcomes. Familiar weapons, movements and actions take user adaption time to virtually zero, allowing soldiers to focus immediately on content and learning. Driving reductions in ammunition, staffing, safety officers, travel and accommodation costs and more, AVRT improves the quantity and quality of training without further costs. First person and full 3D replays, and metrics such as distances and shot placement provide effective feedback methods that aren’t traditionally possible. The AVRT system is commercially available now.
