Description
The Defence Office for Small Business Growth (DOSBG) is a newly established unit within the UK Ministry of Defence created to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) access defence opportunities more easily.
Launched in 2026, DOSBG was set up as part of the government’s wider Defence Industrial Strategy and its commitment to increase MOD spending with SMEs by an additional £2.5 billion by 2028.
Its core purpose is to reduce barriers that have traditionally made defence procurement difficult for smaller businesses. DOSBG acts as a central point of contact for SMEs looking to engage with defence, providing guidance on procurement, supply chains, opportunities, and routes into the sector.
